Checkerboard Vortex Chess Art — abstract canvas print, angled canvas view on white background

Shown to scale

Falling Into the Checkerboard

This checkerboard vortex chess art bends black and white squares into a dizzying tunnel, with speed lines and warped surfaces rushing toward the center. Faint chess pieces appear along the curves, giving the graphic image an optical, almost hypnotic energy.

Bold and modern, it suits a game room, a teen's bedroom, a creative office or a monochrome loft. It pairs well with black and white furniture, chrome and a single bright accent for contrast.

Is optical-illusion art too busy for a living room?

It can be a striking focal point if the rest of the room is calm. Keep surrounding decor simple and let the canvas be the main pattern.
